Dancer

Emily is a Colorado native and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She received the majority of her training as a teenager in jazz, lyrical, ballet and tap at Michelle Latimer Dance Academy in Denver. In high school, she was a member of Michelle Latimer’s performing and competitive company. She went on to attend the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she received a degree in Humanities, with an emphasis in English Literature and Music History. While there, she continued to dance, taking class at Dance West and was also a member of the Buff Gold dance team during their inaugural season. As an adult, she began studying contemporary with Jacob Mora, ballet with Debbie Mercer, jazz with Terrell Davis, and tap with Mindy Marcus. and Claire Sheek. She was honored to be a performer in Jacob Mora’s Moraporvida Company show in March of 2018. For the 2018-19 season, she was a guest artist with Industrial Dance Alliance. Emily is excited to be in her third season with Rocky Mountain Rhythm.
