Dancer

Michelle discovered her love of tap at 7 years old from her teacher, Cathy Nelson, a former Rockette.  This is still Michelle's dream job but, at 5'3", it was never meant to be. She has a degree in Music Performance (Voice) from Metro State and spent 1.5 years in the graduate program at CU Boulder until she realized that she'd probably make hundreds of dollars a year as an opera singer.  She was lucky enough to use her college business classes to work in Marketing in a number of Denver companies (including AT&T) until she got married to Alan and gave birth to her partner in crime, Eamon, who is now 12 and playing drums in middle school band. She has taught percussive dance (Irish and Tap) to children and adults for over 12 years.  She currently teaches with her mentor, Gene GeBauer, at Destination Dance in Wheatridge. Being a founding member of Rocky Mountain Rhythm is undoubtedly the coolest thing she's ever had a chance to do!
